All for the same price as this ‘attraction’ and I use that word lightly. Go Chester Zoo loads more animals, same fish display and a great DAY out. Looked around for a member of staff for a refund but again, no one was in sight. Think we were there about an hour in total – great for the drive we just put in…NOT. We didn’t even get to see the octopus after staring at the display for about 10 minutes. There was nothing interesting in that section. Maybe if a member of staff was around, we might have known on the day! There was a bit in the middle that resembled a fish farm. Didn’t even know there was a part that you can put your head in a dome until I was discussing how terrible it was with friend’s days later. Got to ‘Venom’ – saw 3 spiders.the only creepy thing about this section is the song ‘Incy Wincy Spider’ playing in the background. The Aquatheatre and the Walkway are the same attraction, just different windows. “Aquatheatre” – yes, your website says three shows a day but fails to state what time. Left after a few minutes due to the sheer lack of space, but wait….we did see some frogs and a snake. The area was so small we had to get up close and personal with other visitors just to move from tank to tank. ‘Amphibians’….got rammed 3 times by a mum with a large push chair. Then we came to ‘Lake Malawi’ – a turtle greeted us in the first tank, and then went round to one large tank with coloured fish…. Not to mention the plastic plants that was covered in dust whacking you on the head when you walk past. The tanks looked murky, the glass display was dirty and had paint on it. We spent less than a few minutes in there. Got to the ‘flooded forest’ – i have seen better displays in local pet stores. really? Felt embarrassed that we didn’t have children with us. Paid for our tickets and walked through to what looked like a Wacky Warehouse. Both proceeded to laugh and talk to each other whilst i waited. Upon arrival, i was greeted by two ladies one stood and greeted us whilst the other 'lounged' across a computer chair and nearly fell off. I'd recommend parking at the nearby shopping centre and walking up. It was the worst £35 i ever spent, £16.50 for two people, plus £2.50 parking charge. Despite reading the negative reviews, i thought i'd give it a try.
